Thomas Savolskis, 63, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family after bravely fighting cancer for the past three years.  Tommy was born in Pittsburgh and had lived in New York before settling in Ramtown 35 years ago.  He was a graduate of Fordham University and had a successful CPA career for over 40 years.  

Tom is predeceased by his parents, David and Jean Savolskis.  He is survived by his wife, Cathy, his sons, Matthew & Ryan Savolskis (Ramtown), his daughter, Katie and son-in-law, Bryant (Bradley Beach) and faithful feline companion, Pidge; his brother, Mark, his wife, Teri, and their daughter, Jackie; brother-in-law, Chris, and his children, Christopher, Connor and Morgan.  Tom also leaves behind an amazing group of cousins that he considered his brothers and sisters.

There was nothing Tommy enjoyed more than cooking a big Sunday dinner - and the more people the better.  Throw in a Steeler game, and he was in heaven.  Tom could always tell a good story - either about books he'd read, movies he'd seen or music we should all love as much as him (although Cathy thought they were way too long).

He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends.  This is the greatest gift he has passed on to his children.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, NJ on Monday, August 14th, from 3pm to 8pm.  

There will also be a viewing in Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning, August 16th from 9:30am to 11am at Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, 350 Main Street, Munhall, PA.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30am at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 1 St. Therese Court, Munhall, PA.  Interment will take place on Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave., Pittsburgh, PA.
