My heart goes out to Peggy, Tommy and John. Tommy was full of life and an amazing man. In many way, I wouldn’t be where I am at today without Tommy. I just moved to Marco Island and this beautiful place will always remind me of Tommy Whelan. He will be missed greatly.

Tom Whelan was a gentlemen in the truest sense of the word. He was a generous and supportive friend to both of my children, Chris and Kate. A splendid husband and father, Tom was a role model for all of us. My condolences to Peg, Tom, Jon and the grandchildren: Tom's was a life well lived in every sense of the word.
