Uncle Tim was an Irish-American that enjoyed speaking about his lineage but was also proud to be an American who served in the US Navy. He was an individual that always had a smile on his face and offered you a firm handshake.
I remember vacationing with the Murphy's to North Carolina and sitting in the back seat of the car, Anne did most of the driving but when we got to NC Uncle Tim took over and Timmy and I had to scrunch down so that the entire rear window was clear for him to see out of. He was a man that enjoyed his coffee hot and his Budweiser cold. He will be missed but never forgotten.
