Vito A. Bertolami, 87 of the Four Seasons Community of Wall passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Medical Center of Ocean County, Brick.

Born and raised in Neptune by his parents Anthony and Catherine (nee Polizzi) Bertolami. He was a 1952 graduate of Neptune High School and attended the Univ. of Maryland before entering the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Dix. 

He had resided in Colts Neck for many years before moving to Four Seasons at Wall, Manasquan in 1997.

He was an Executive in the Oil Industry working for Stinnes Interoil, New York City before forming his own company V.A.B. Petroleum, Red Bank.

Predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife Joan M. (nee Turtur) Bertolami of 61 years on July 1, 2019, and his brother Sal Bertolami.

Surviving are his devoted daughters Lisa Martinez and husband Dana of Forked River, and Denise C. Bertolami of Belmar, his 2 granddaughters Alison and husband Richard Swank and Laura Martinez, his great granddaughter Joanna Swank and his sister-in-law Karen.

Visiting will be Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Mark’s Church, 215 Crescent Pkwy. Sea Girt. Committal will follow in St. Catharine Cemetery Mausoleum, Wall.
