William Charles Bower Jr., 88, of Manahawkin, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.

Born in Staten Island, NY, he resided in Mercer County for many years, prior to moving to Barnegat and finally settling in Manahawkin. He was a member of the Society of St. Paul in Staten Island, a special Minister of Holy Communion and Volunteer Deacon at RWJ Hamilton. William worked as a printer for the Daily Racing Form in East Windsor prior to his retirement. He enjoyed being a Family man and will be remembered for his many years of Volunteer service.

Predeceased by his parents, William C. Bower Sr. and Olympia (Palladino) Bower; he is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Carol T. (Palmisino) Bower; his children, William C. Bower III (Debbie) of Manahawkin, Frederick A. Bower (PO) of Hillsborough, Kenneth S. Bower (Cheryl) of Fieldsboro and Thomas D. Bower of PA (Nancy); and his 10 grandchildren, Thomas Bower Jr., Teresa Bower, Todd Bower , Amanda Bower, Aaron Bower, Daniel Bower, Donna Leski, Samanatha Bower, Rebecca Timpanaro and Micheal Bower and future great grandaughter Lorelai Leski.

A Prayer Service will take place at 11:30am on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum, 403 Gordon Road, Robbinsville.
