William J. Rochette, 63, of Lakewood passed away December 7, 2019, at his home.
Born in Jersey City, he resided in Manasquan for many years before moving to Lakewood. Prior to retirement, he worked as a social worker for Monmouth County for 30 years. William loved his job and loved helping others in every way he could. He had a kind and generous heart.
William was a huge Rock N’ Roll fan. He loved The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones just to name a few. He also enjoyed dancing the salsa with his loving wife, Ana. William was an avid reader and enjoyed watching black and white films.
William was predeceased by his stepfather, Alfred Joseph Rochette.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Rochette; his mother, Joan Marie Rochette; his brothers, Sean, Alfred, and Patrick; one stepson, Nicolas Gomez; and his cherished grandson, Nicolas Adrian.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29th, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, with a memorial service to take place at 5:00pm.
