Condolences

Condolence From: Carolyn McGowan
Condolence: Mrs. Amabile and family, I was saddened to hear of the passing of your husband/father. I first met your family growing up in Spring Lake Heights and coaching Nicole in Little League(The Rookies). Mrs. Amabile you took time out of your busy schedule to type up my first resume. Student teaching at Wall High School in the fall of 1982 brings back nice memories of watching Mr. Amabile coach and joining your family in celebrating such a successful season. I followed Mr. Amabile's coaching journey through the papers, again I am sorry for you loss. Sincerely, Carolyn McGowan

Condolence: It is impossible to adequately express in words what needs to be said for a life lived so well and so in keeping with the ideal of the Greeks of antiquity that one should leave this world a better place for having been there. That John Amabile clearly did. Those of us who have been touched by him or his family are doubtless unanimous in feeling that those qualities of honor, friendship and love that he inspired in others will carry him with the greatest of dignity into eternity.

Condolence: John Amabile,
The many years we taught at Neptune HS seem so distant now...but when I think of how friendly and helpful you were, they come back as clearly as yesterday. You were a genuine man, uniquely interested in furthering your students hopes and dreams. Nothing was too difficult for you. No matter the effort or trouble. I
have especially fond memories of our favorite cooking methods discussions, restaurant critiques and wine evaluations. You were indeed a versatile guy! I am better for having known you, and am proud to have been your friend. May God bless you and your family.
