Obituary for Lillie M Denham (Guercio)

Lillie M. Denham, 84, of Four Seasons, Lakewood, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2014 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Rosario and Lily Guercio, she went on to work for McCann Advertising as an Executive Secretery before devoting her life to raising her family. Mrs. Denham was a former longtime resident of Sparta, where she and her husband enjoyed playing at the Mohawk Golf Club. Moving to Four Seasons, Lakewood in 1999, she was a member of the Four Seasons Golf Club, Four Seasons Irish Club, and enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 52 years, William H. Denham, her loving daughters, Patricia Denham and her spouse, Nicolas Gikakis, and Dr. Lilibeth Denham and her spouse, Dr. Kristin Dardano, and her cherished grandchildren, Helen Gikakis, Cristopher W. Denham, and Lily Grace Dardano.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 1:00 to 5:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00AM on Monday, July 28th at St. Dominic R.C. Church, Brick. Interment will follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
