Brian S. Watson, 54 of Wall Township passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
Brian was a hairstylist by trade and the proud owner and operator of Tekniques Salon, Shrewsbury. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman who enjoyed mountain biking, surfing, kayaking and restoration of old cars. He had served as a lifeguard in Sea Girt and Belmar for many years.
Despite all of Brian’s hobbies and interests, his main focus in life was the love and care of his devoted wife Beth and their daughter Brianna.
Born in Morristown, he resided in Howell and then Neptune before moving to Wall Township in 1996.
Brian was predeceased by his parents Walter W. Jr. and Patricia Anne Fantry Watson and his brother Walter W. Watson III.
He is survived by his wife Beth K. (nee Rosen) Watson, his daughter Brianna Nicole Watson at home, his sister Laura Sylvester and husband Gary and their son Zachary and his sister in law Ronda Strelecki and her husband Ray and their sons Matthew and Kyle and many other dear close relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 11:30am until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:30pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd. Wall. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers the family specifically requests donations be made to establish an Education Fund for the benefit of Brianna.
