Obituary for Claire E. Reber (Huebscher)
Claire E. Reber, 77, of Brick entered into eternal life on Monday, October 13, 2014. Claire was a graduate of Saint Rose High School, Belmar, and lifetime and exempt member of Wall Community First Aid Squad. She worked for several local florists as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed time spent with her six grandchildren and attending their various activities.
Born in Neptune, She was a lifelong resident of Wall and Brick.
She is predeceased by her parents Carroll and Betty Huebsher and her beloved sister Carol. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Young and husband Randy, of Jupiter, Florida and formerly of Point Pleasant Boro, her son Mark Reber and wife Barbara, and son Douglas Reber and wife Karen of Brick, and her daughters Jacqueline Jones and husband Charles, and Jennifer Connerly and husband Rick, of Ormond Beach, Florida. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Allison, Logan, Sydney, Kevin and Kurt and a nephew, Brian McKevitt and his wife Monica of Omaha, NE.
Visiting will be on Friday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted 7pm Friday evening in the funeral home. The funeral will begin from the funeral home on Saturday 10am followed by a burial at St. Catharine’s Cemetery in Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, a donation to A Time for Me, 617 Union Avenue, Bldg 3 Suite 12, Brielle, NJ 08730 or atimeforme.org would be appreciated.
