Obituary for Marie Louise "Marylou" Carloni (Sittig)
Marie Louise “Marylou” Carloni, 81, of Forked River, N.J., passed away on June 24, 2015.
She was a lifelong resident of Oradell who retired to Forked River 20 years ago. Her passions were horseback riding, antiquing, bowling, dancing, swimming, traveling and playing cards. Oh how she loved to entertain!
Marylou was predeceased by her husband Alfred “Big Al” Carloni in 2012 and her brother Walter Sittig.
She is survived by her son and his wife, James P. and Mary Beth Carloni, Farmingdale, N.J. and her daughter and her husband, Laurie and Thomas Predmore, Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Meehan. Marylou was the loving grandmother of Ashley and Tyler Carloni and Faith Predmore.
Visiting will be on Monday, June 29,2015, 4-8 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall, N.J. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, which the cemetery does not allow, memorial contributions may be to the Lacey Township EMS, 305 Manchester Avenue, Lanoka Harbor, N.J. 08734.
