Angelo  Colucci
Angelo Colucci, 83, of Manasquan, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016.
Mr. Colucci was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Angelo and Maria (nee Trozzolillo) Colucci. He was raised in Jersey City and then lived in Wayne for 27 years before moving to Four Seasons at Wall in 1998. He served in the Army and went on to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Newark College of Engineering. He was employed by Hewlett-Packard for many years, serving as Regional Sales Manager before retiring in 2000. He then embarked on a second career, earning his real estate license and working with Weichert Realtors in Point Pleasant Beach, where he was still active. He enjoyed participating in community activities at Four Seasons at Wall.
Mr. Colucci was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Kay (nee Starin) in 2012. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Martin and Patrick Colucci. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Colucci, of South Plainfield, N.J., James Colucci and his husband Frank DeCaro, of Los Angeles, California and Little Falls, N.J., and Joseph Colucci and his wife Alison, of Wayne, N.J. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Madelyn, Kate and Alyssa Colucci, and his sisters-in-law, Madeline Knops, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Sally Starin and June Ploch, of Clifton, N.J., as well as by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martha’s Church, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant, on Friday, July 29, 2016, at 9:30 AM, followed by burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Colucci’s memory may be made to The Felician School for Exceptional Children, 260 South Main Street, Lodi, NJ 07644, or via www.fsec.org.
