Obituary for Jean M Dodds (Morse)
Jean Marie Dodds, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Mt. Carmel, PA, Jean resided in North Jersey for many years before moving to the Jersey Shore in 1965.
Jean enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching boats at the Pt. Pleasant Inlet, Christmas, and playing pinochle with her husband, brother, and sister. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald “Hon” in 2013, her brother George Morse, in 1996, her sister, Grace Jenkins, in 2013, and her grandson, Jason Dodds earlier this year.
She is survived by her children; David Dodds and his wife Gail and Margaret Alesso and her husband Bruce; her grandchildren, Jena Woodrow and her husband Joe, Jake Alesso and Sara Buscaglia and her husband Fred; her great grandchildren, Bridie, Ciara, Patrick and Ella Woodrow and Everett Buscaglia.
Cremation was private and held under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick.
