Deborah Joan Del Nobile Tanenbaum, 59, of Wall, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Teaneck, NJ to Joseph and Joan (Le Maire) Del Nobile, Deborah graduated from Park Ridge High School and Montclair State College before earning her law degree from Seton Hall School of Law while working full time as an employment manager at Lehn & Fink (a division of Sterling Drug). She then embarked on a successful legal career at Crummy Del Deo in Newark and Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer in Woodbridge where she practiced bankruptcy and employment law before starting her own private practice, during which time she was appointed U.S. Bankruptcy Panel Trustee, and then ultimately joined her husband at Tanenbaum Law, LLC in Metuchen.
Deborah was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband Steven of 29 years; her beloved children Zachary and Dena; her siblings Linda Del Nobile Menze of Park Ridge and Joseph Del Nobile, Jr. and wife Melissa of Westwood; her nieces and nephews Sara and Joshua Pollock and his wife Anna; Tony, Dana and Chad Del Nobile; Lexi and Dylan Menze; Alicia and Michael Tanenbaum; her cousin Cristina Murphy and husband Fran and their children Mika and Mylo of Cherry Hill and many dear friends.
Deborah was a passionate player and avid fan of tennis, participating in many leagues around the Jersey Shore. She loved Manasquan beach and the many beaches of her favorite vacation destination St. Maarten. She loved to cook, host parties, travel, plan trips and spend time with family and friends. She also loved music, especially the oldies.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Sunday, February 26th from 2:00-6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Innocents Church, 3455 W. Bangs Avenue, Neptune, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Repast to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey, 131 S Bath Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740, www.rmhc.org/donate
