Terry was my model for a school principal.  His schools were always inviting welcoming places with happy folks inside.  He helped me provide a unique field experience for GCU special education candidates by allowing us time in his school, asking his teachers to work with my students and by teaching them about learning and leading.

We quickly became friends sharing more than just work.  I admired Terry for his personal values, the way he lived those values and for his caring approach to life.  I always looked forward to laughing with him.  I have missed him as we moved about the country.
