Obituary for Jane Troncone

Jane  Troncone
Jane Troncone, 83, of Brick peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 26, 2016.
Born and raised on Staten Island, New York, Jane attended Notre Dame Academy, and the Flower Fifth Avenue School of Nursing. She served as a Registered Nurse at Richmond Memorial Hospital and Bayley Seton Hospital, as well as a Nursing Supervisor at Doctor’s Hospital of Staten Island and Clove Lake Nursing Home.
Jane was a lifelong resident of Staten Island, relocating to Brick, NJ in 2013 to be closer to her children. She continued an active social life, keeping in touch with her many friends and colleagues through telephone and Facebook, and took great pride in her home and family.
Jane is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Peggy Troncone, and Matthew and Debbie Troncone. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Troncone and her fiancé Michael Calabrese, Kristen and her husband Kevin Finnell, Sarah Troncone and her fiancé Carmelo Bongiovi, Matthew Troncone, Jr., and Geralyn Troncone and her fiancé Brett Clements. She is also survived by her longtime companion Teddy Hanson.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, NJ 08724 on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10 AM. Final committal will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s memory may be made to Calvary Hospital, Bronx NY at www.calvaryhospital.org , or to The Skin Cancer Foundation at www.skincancer.org.
