Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kathryn Harmer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Evelyn Hodyl
Condolence: Mrs. Harmer was a wonderful, caring teacher at HMS for many years. Although my kids were not in her kindergarten class, she had a wonderful smile and that special way with all the children and parents there that will never be forgotten.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Kathryn's passing. She was a very special, kind and lovely lady with a contagious smile. She welcomed me to Horace Mann as a new teacher with open arms. I will never forget her. My sympathy to her family.

Condolence: When I began teaching, Kathryn was my very first grade partner. She was so kind and helpful to a brand-new teacher. She always took time to give me advice and assistance in a very caring manner. I soon felt that Kathryn and I became friends.
I am so glad that she lived such a long life and was able to enjoy her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I wish to extend my sympathy to her daughters and her family. I will include Kathryn in my prayers.

Condolence: Mrs. Harmer was my kindergarten teacher at Horace Mann in the mid '60's. She was one of the kindest, sweetest teachers I ever had. I have a lousy memory but can remember Mrs. Harmer and the fun we had in our class. She absolutely had a positive impact on my life. I'm happy to see she lived a long life to share her kindness with so many.

My sympathies to her daughters and the rest of the family. I'm sure her goodness and love lives on within you.
