The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Bocchino can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: When I owned Bloomin' Ideas Florist & Gifts in Point Pleasant Beach, Michael Bocchino was one of our designers. He was always there for us whenever my partner Dianne and I called.

Michael loved his family, his wife Marianna, and their children. He loved flowers. He loved Christmas. He loved helping produce musical extravaganzas at Greenbriar for all major holidays, especially Fourth of July and Christmas. He loved telling saucy jokes.

I have alot of great memories of Michael. But I will remember him most for his friendship. At one of the dark times in my life, when other people bailed, Mike was there for me when I needed help at the shop. I don't remember him ever saying no. He was the epitomy of true friendship, and I will always be in his debt. Heaven will be brightened by his presence.

Condolence From: Father Charlie Urnick
Condolence: To Marianna and all of Mike's Family - Please know that I will remember Mike in all our weekend Masses here at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Laughlin, Nevada. And I will keep you all in my prayers. Mike was an incredible friend and source of help and inspiration when I was Pastor at Immaculate Conception Church in Norwood, NJ, from 1995-2008. His love for his church, his community and his family are all part of the wonderful legacy he has left us.

May God bless him in eternity with the rewards of his life. And may God grant His peace to all of us.

Father Charlie (aka to Mike as "Charlie Boy")
