Eleonora “Ellie” Santullo, 90, of Wall, NJ died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Brandywine at Wall, with family and friends near. She was born in Newark, NJ, was a member of the Republican Club of Newark and was the Secretary of the Roselle Avenue Business Association. Ellie married the love of her life, Ray Santullo in 1955 and together they owned Ray’s Army Navy Store. She was the proud mother of five children, raising them in West Orange. In 1987, Ellie moved to Wall, where she was active in Wall Seniors, Pride of Wall, The Red Hat Society and St. Denis Seniors. She recently moved to Brandywine at Wall where she kept very busy and entertained by the caring staff and fellow residents.
She was predeceased by her husband Orazio “Ray” Santullo in 1974. Surviving are her children; Maria and her husband Harvey of Sea Girt, NJ, Ray and his wife Ellen of Walkersville, Maryland, Michael and his wife Vickie of Clearwater, Florida, Anthony and his wife Barbara of Berkeley Heights, NJ, John and his wife Diane of Franklin Park, NJ and her younger sister Marie Cuseo of West Orange, NJ. She also leaves 10 grandchildren; RJ, Marietta, Lauren, Kristen, Nick, Kate and her husband Taylor, Kerry, Brandon, Robert and Dayna.
Burial in St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to a charity that is dear to your heart.
