Christine I. (Galinski) Schmidt, 92, of Toms River, passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
Christine was born in Wisconsin and was a resident of Manahawkin for over 50 years. She was a restaurant owner.
Christine was predeceased by her parents, Kazimir and Stephany (Vaicius) Galinski, her children, Caroline Schmidt and Erich Schmidt, and her brothers, Leo and Tony Galinski. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Schmidt, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister, Violet Neu, her nieces, and her dear friend, Fred Wagner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Ocean County Memorial Park, Silverton Rd., Toms River, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 11 A.M. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
