It is impossible to adequately express in words what needs to be said for a life lived so well and so in keeping with the ideal of the Greeks of antiquity that one should leave this world a better place for having been there. That John Amabile clearly did. Those of us who have been touched by him or his family are doubtless unanimous in feeling that those qualities of honor, friendship and love that he inspired in others will carry him with the greatest of dignity into eternity.
