Oh, Danny Boy

My home town was not near George and Pat's home, so I wasn't able to visit as often as I would have liked. BUT, when I did have the good fortune to spend time with the Hickey family, George would greet me with an Irish song and a big hug. He was generous and thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable. He was a man who enjoyed sharing Irish music and the activities of the family he loved so much. When I hear "Oh, Danny Boy" played, I smile and think of my Irish friend singing loud and clear. - May you rest in peace, George. God bless you.
