Dr. Bogdan was a colleague of mine -- and I want to say that he and I had our rough patches at first, with my work to support breastfeeding mothers and him not in full agreement with my approaches. He was a man of a certain opinion, and rightfully so, as his first duty was always to the safety and health of his patients and their families. With time we came to full agreement and mutual understanding. I always appreciated his openmindedness and willingness to learn, and, most importantly, to always do what is the ethically and morally correct thing for his families. I was really impressed by how he connected with our patients at the Family Health Center with incredible compassion, sensitivity, and humor. He was an outstanding role model to our residents and students on how to be a caring pediatrician. He will be missed, but always remembered.
