Well, I am her namesake. I feel very honored to bear her name. My hope is that when I have grandchildren that they will see me as a faith-filled woman just like her. She taught me a lot like: Love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and love my neighbor as myself. She lived it. I loved the way she sang, "I keep falling in love with Him over and over and over and over again....He gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by. Oh what love between my Lord and I. I keep falling in love with Him over and over and over and over again! I have many fond memories but one is when I asked her to teach me how to make homemade cannolis. Well, I learned that it much easier to just buy the shell from an Italian bakery and make the cream myself...I ached for days after all the rolling I had to do. I watched her serve others and make amazing Italian food which I love to make for my son. I told her when he started kindergarten he would run off the bus and go directly in front of the tv and ask for, "Meatballs and gravy." She got a kick out of that. After Uncle Robert passed, I had the opportunity to take this lovely lady out to a special place called the Scone Shop. We called it our secret place. We had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company, but it did not last long because I had to head back to work. Moreover, she always bought me special gifts. Whenever she gave me a book/journal I cherished the words she would wrote in them. I will always smile when I think of her. I look forward to seeing her when we will meet again in glory!

Nanny is very special to me and all who know her. My best times and memories that I recall have always been surrounded by Nanny. So many thanksgivings, Christmas gatherings, Easter’s and birthdays. I feel so much sadness as I know I can’t pick up the phone and call her and make plans to go see her anymore but then again nothing but joy fills my heart and soul knowing she’s home she’s in her eternal place and she’s surrounded by so many people I miss and love that I know are there with her now. I thank the Lord Jesus for what He’s done that we may have the gift Of eternal life and one day Nanny.....I’ll meet you over there. Until then enjoy your peace new body and all the heavens offer you. Kiss 😘 my family for me....I love you 😍💕🥰❤️

Aunt Flo was a remarkable woman. I truly enjoyed listening to her telling me stories of my grandmother, Millie when they were younger and other family members that are no longer with us. I hope that they are all having a good time in heaven. I will miss her smile and her laughter.
