Condolences

Condolence From: Janet Mischler Huhn
Condolence: I met Don and Mo when I was a young single girl renting an apartment on Garfield Lane next door to their house. I would look out my garage apartment window and see this beautiful blonde lady sun bathing in a white bikini and drinking wine. I had a cat named Pussywillow who evidently used to visit them and got treats. One day Pussywillow came home with a note attached to his collar inviting me over to play ping pong sometime. So I did and we developed a ping pong/Pussywillow friendship. I owned a travel agency called Net Travel in Loch Arbor. The Cunninghams liked to travel, so Mo came to work for me as a travel agent. She was a very dedicated trustworthy person to work with and we had lots of good times over the years in that office together. She was a dog lover and enjoyed having my dog Elsie sleep under her desk at the office. And, of course, she and Don got to take advantage of lots of great travel agent's bargains to travel around the world. I remember one time when they came back from the Carribean, she snuck in a Butterfly fish through customs for my husband's salt water tank! (Mo?!!) They were always willing participants when I would organize canoe trips down the Manasquan River and they would bring their box lunch and wine. Oh yes, when I got married out on Sunset Island in Asbury Park, Mo and Don were there and Don married us. Mo was a sweet, loving caring person and knowing her and Don added tons of fun and funny memories that I will always treasure. I'm so glad I got to see her again about 1 1/2 years ago. It was so sad, tho, as she had just lost Michael. But, as always, she was quite a trooper and had just come back from getting her hair styled (and it wasn't an old lady do either!) She'll always be the little blonde with a fur coat and boots in the winter and a white bikini in the summer traveling around in a white Kharman Ghia or white sports car. And who loved to take the train to New York City. They loved life and lived it to the fullest. Bon Voyage Mo as you go out on your next great adventure! Thanks for everything. Thanks for being you.
