Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Wrege can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I will greatly miss Dr. Wrege. I admired his passion for history and truth and his incredible research skills. I especially admired his integrity. He was not afraid to uncover unpleasant or controversial truths, and did not quietly choose the easy path. But I will remember him mostly for his dedication to his beloved wife, his compassion for the underprivileged, and his unfailing dedication to protecting animals. He had a big heart, and we are all better because of it. Thank you, Chuck!

Condolence From: Shashi K. Shah
Condolence: Chuck was a great guy and a good friend. We taught together at UC Rutgers University. He was truly a kind, considerate and thoughtful human being. Perhaps non conventional in his teaching, he was dedicated to his students and for advancing the field of management. As a management historian, he was a real detective. He would go to any length to investigate minute details of his subject. A real scholar, and down to earth human being, our academic world has lost a good man in him.
